The Kirkin O’ The Tartan and Pre-Parade Brunch


Parade day would not be the same without this time honored event for the entire family. The service will be followed by the pre-parade brunch and all are welcome to join SASNY at the parade line-up which begins at 1:00pm.

The Pipes and Drums on the Fountain Terrace Bryant Park


Join us on the Fountain Terrace of Bryant Park to hear the sound of the Pipes and Drums from some of our leading Pipe Bands as they prepare for the 18th Annual New York Tartan Day Parade.

Performance Schedule:

11:35am – Lathallan School Pipe Band
11:55am – Oban School Pipe Band
12:15pm – Bonnie Brae Knights Drummers
12:30pm – St Columba School Pipe Band
12:45pm – Shamrock & Thistle

For all the community to enjoy prior to the Parade. Come join us on the Fountain Terrace.

He founded the much-acclaimed post-graduate program in Genealogical Studies at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, up to Masters level, which he headed for six years as Course Director.
